Changelog
Recent updates and improvements to Payon Palace.
Changelog
October 16, 2026
- Fairer Item Values - The Box EV calculator, Steal calculator, EXP & Farming Planner and Endless Tower rewards now value an item at its market price or what an NPC pays, whichever is higher. A Topaz that sells for 2,000z on the market but 3,000z to an NPC now counts as 3,000z.
- NPC Prices Only - Those pages have a switch to value every item at its NPC sell price instead, cards included. It shows what you can count on making without finding buyers, such as zeny per hour from farming a monster. The Item DB has the switch too, to show and sort by NPC prices only.
October 14, 2026
- Delay per Skill Use - An advanced Damage Calculator setting, under the skill's cast and delay times, that adds your ping and key-press gap to every skill cast so DPS matches what you see in game. Most players can leave it off.
- Bio Cannibalize Plants - Alchemists get a Plants tab in the Damage Calculator: each plant's damage, hit chance, attack speed and DPS against your target, how many you can have out, their HP, and how much the Geographer heals.
October 13, 2026
- Damage Calculator - A new damage calculator built for Payon Stories (Tools > Damage Calculator). Pick a class, stats, gear, cards, buffs and a monster to see damage per hit, DPS and hits to kill for auto attacks and every attack skill. It uses Payon Stories' own skill reworks, item changes and card effects rather than vanilla numbers. Crits, misses and card procs are all part of the average. Save, load and share builds by link. It works on phones too: pickers open as sheets you can swipe down to close.
- Builds Saved to Your Account - Logged in, Damage Calculator builds are saved to your account, so they open on any device. Builds already saved in your browser can be moved over in one tap.
- Smarter Pickers - Item and monster lists show what you can actually get on the server first, with a switch to show the rest. Search matches item descriptions, and classic card sets are one tap away.
October 12, 2026
- Discord Live List - Guild and alliance webhooks can now post one live list of tracked MVPs instead of a message per timer. Each MVP gets a sprite card with its map, plus the tomb spot and numpad grid when you've set them. The list updates in place as timers are set, cleared and spawn. Spawn warnings use the same compact card and are removed once the MVP spawns.
- @everyone Pings - Leaders and officers get a megaphone button on shared timers to ping @everyone about an MVP once. Pings can go to a different Discord channel from your timer posts.
- Paporium Item Search - Paporium (Quest Database) now starts from an item: search for one, or pick from commonly looked up items, to see the crafts, quests and shops that give it. It's now under Databases.
- Recipe Amounts - Item pages say how many a recipe makes (e.g. Sharp Leaf makes 30 Sharp Arrows).
October 8, 2026
- More Items From the Client - Items the game client has but our database was missing are now imported, and duplicate entries are merged.
- Class Sprites - Class pickers show each class with mixed genders, hairstyles and hair colours, including new looks for Swordsman, Merchant, Assassin and Monk.
October 7, 2026
- Loot Share - Record MVP drops and who was in the party, then split the zeny once things sell (Tools > Loot Share).
- Display Names - Choose the name other players see on the site from your Profile.
- Monster Breakdown & Map Finder - See how monsters split by race, element and size, and find which maps to farm for the races, elements and sizes your gear is good against.
October 6, 2026
- New Menus - The navigation menus now open as A-Z grids of cards, each saying what the page is for.
- Rankings Retired - The Monster DB now sorts by drop value, which replaces the old Rankings page.
October 5, 2026
- MVP Priorities - Guilds and alliances can mark MVPs as High or Medium priority (Guild > Priorities). Priority MVPs sort to the top of the timer page with a HIGH / MED badge, and a "Priority only" switch hides everything else. Guild leaders and officers edit their guild's list; leaders and officers of every guild in an alliance can edit the alliance's shared list.
- Priority Pings on Discord - Priority MVPs stand out in Discord alerts, and High priority spawn warnings and spawn posts can @mention a role you choose, so people can mute the channel and still hear about the ones that matter. High priority MVPs always post, even if your notification filter would skip them.
October 3, 2026
- Discord Spawn Warnings - Guild and alliance Discord alerts now post a heads-up before a tracked MVP spawns, with a live countdown, and update that post when it spawns. Choose 5, 10 or 15 minutes ahead (or off) in your guild or alliance webhook settings; 10 minutes is the default. Alerts now go out even when nobody has the site open.
- Spawn Window Timing - Instead of just saying "Overdue", the timer page now shows how long past its spawn window an MVP is (e.g. +12m 05s).
October 2, 2026
- Alliances - Guilds can now team up and share MVP timers. A guild leader creates an alliance from the guild page and sends the invite link to other guild leaders. New timers are shared with the whole alliance by default; pick Guild or Personal when setting one to keep it narrower. The timer and history pages get an Alliance tab, and shared timers show which guild set them.
- Timer Fixes - The "someone already set this timer, overwrite?" warning works again, and choosing Personal in the quick timer window now really keeps the timer to yourself.
- Skills Synced With the Game Client - Skill Database and Simulator now match the latest client. Tool Mastery is the renamed Overcharge; Rogues and Super Novices keep Sword Mastery (Blade Mastery is Swordman-only) and Reject Sword needs Sword Mastery 3 again; Stalker skills are off the Rogue tree.
- Alchemist & Creator - Sphere Mine counts down 3 seconds and gains HP from VIT, Acid Terror lists its Bleeding chance per level, Bio Cannibalize plants scale with your stats, Chemical Protections require a Glistening Coat (CP Helm costs 25 SP), Demonstration flames need a cell of space between them, and Acid Demonstration moved in the Creator tree.
- Other Classes - Updated descriptions, SP and ranges for Merchant, Blacksmith, Hunter traps (larger blast areas), Monk, Crusader, Knight, Wizard, Ninja and Gunslinger skills, plus text fixes for Star Gladiator, Soul Linker and mercenary skills that were cut off.
August 10, 2026
- Merchant Rework - Discount and Overcharge are now one skill, Barter; new Tool Mastery axe/mace mastery; Pushcart condensed to 5 levels; Cart Revolution and Crazy Uproar are regular skill tree skills now (5 and 4 levels). Skill Simulator and Skill Database updated to match.
- Blacksmith Rework - Adrenaline Rush works with every melee weapon, buff durations normalized to 60/120/180/240/300s, Smith Weapon skills go to level 4, and Smith Sword now covers two-handed swords.
- Alchemist Rework - Chemical Protections are learned independently (max level 3), Acid Terror hits harder, Transmutation replaces Axe Mastery, and Potion Pitcher has all-new potion effects.
- New Status Effect: Burning - Documented on Remote Detonator: 5 stacks, 60 Fire magic damage per second and -2 MDEF each.
- Card & Item Updates - Pill Bug, Pirate Skeleton, Flame Beetle, Sasquatch, Grizzly, FUEL, Tengu and Wootan Fighter cards updated, plus Veteran Axe [2], Crescent Scythe, Setting Dirk and Plant Bottle. Fruit Mix is no longer obtainable.
- Aspect of Sol - Now listed as passive instead of aggressive.
- RSX-0806 Released - The Einbech Mine F2 MVP is now live on the timers page, Monster DB and map page, with a 3h 0m + 5m respawn window and its full drop list.
July 29, 2026
- Steal Calculator - New tool: steal success % and expected zeny for any monster, a Top 15 best steal targets ranking (sortable by single steal or map-density farming), and monster/item search. Steal odds also appear right on monster detail pages.
- EXP & Farming Planner - Set your class and level range for total EXP needed, then pick a monster or map to see EXP/hour and profit/hour side by side, with time-to-level.
- Box EV Calculator - Browse every container and see its average open value vs. its cost - profit or loss at a glance.
- Endless Tower Browser - Floor-by-floor mob list for all 100 floors, with a quick floor jump, MVP floors highlighted, and "which floor drops this item?" search.

June 22, 2026
